Royal Princess World Cruise 2009

Preliminaries:
There are a thousand things to think about when planning a world cruise... from 'toothpaste' to 'travel warnings'....... the logistics can become overwhelming, arrangement have to be made for every aspect of daily life, paying bills, maintenance around the house, tax returns etc.
We booked this cruise, early September 2008 as I had already decided to retire at the end of the year, we had the time and hopefully the money, if my pension plan co-operated.
Almost immediately I started a list of things to do, keeping in mind we would be away from home (Ontario, Canada) for almost 4 months during the coldest part of our year, fortunately we have accommodating kids, who will take care of the dog, cat, house and car (in order of importance)
